The World Cat Federation (WCF) which is celebrating its 20th year, has given the Pre-Approval to the breed 'Arabian Mau' - the local cats of the UAE. At the 10th General Assembly of the WCF held in Germany on the 2nd & 3rd August 2008, the President of MECATS Ms. Petra Mueller, presented the Arabian Mau to the WCF officials and other representatives of various Cat clubs & Associations around the world. The final announcement is expected soon after certain formalities are completed.
